We are looking for an all-through Attendance/Admissions Lead to join our supportive and talented team at King’s Oak Academy. We are a diverse multi-academy trust, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students’ learning.

The Attendance and Admissions Lead will work alongside relevant academy staff and the CLF Central Attendance Officer to contribute to raising achievement by improving student attendance. They will accurately maintain the Academy’s legal attendance records within strict deadlines, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements. Will monitor student attendance and initiate appropriate action as required in line with academy policy. Will promote and support high levels of attendance and a positive attendance and punctuality culture within the Academy.

The in-year admissions and transition into Reception and from Year 6 into Year 7 from our feeder primary schools provides us with new families to the academy. Year 6 children who already attend KOA have an automatic place into Year 7. Maintaining good relationships with our families is key to making KOA the ‘community school of choice’.

**What we are looking for**:
To be successful in the post, we are looking for an Attendance/Admissions Lead who will work alongside relevant academy staff to contribute to raising achievement by improving student attendance. **About the Cabot Learning Federation**

King’s Oak Academy is situated in the heart of the South Gloucestershire community and is within easy commuting distance of Bristol and Bath. The academy has been part of the Cabot Learning Federation since 2011 and benefits from being part of a mature, successful MAT (Cabot Learning Federation) which offers access to excellent professional services and opportunities to work in collaboration with experienced professionals across the Trust. As an all-through school, King's Oak is in a privileged position to educate children for aged 4-16 and support their respective families in the local community. The academy staff structure and estates are divided into three phases (Lower School = Reception - Year 4, Middle School = Year 5 - 8, Upper School = Year 9 - 11).
