Facilities Monitoring Assistant Band 3 -20Hrs available - WCH

To provide an efficient and effective monitoring and audit service. The postholder will be responsible for auditing cleanliness within Trust premises, providing assurance against the National Cleaning Standards. The postholder will also assist with the production of audit reports.

Technical Duties
- Required to monitor/audit all trust areas using the Trusts handheld system on a daily basis in line with the National Cleaning Standards, ensuring accurate data is input into the handheld.
- Re-audit areas within a specified time from those areas that failed to meet the Trusts Standards for Cleanliness pertaining to the National Cleaning Standards Specifications trust wide.
- Report any structural and fabric repairs to be made good directly with relevant teams.
- Assist in maintaining an effective and efficient monitoring/auditing system
- Provide and receive routine information which requires tact and persuasive skills with reference to reports produced from the audits
- Numerate and literate with sound analytical and problem solving skills.
- With direction from line manager the post holder is responsible for planning and organising own time, with the autonomy to make short term adjustments to the auditing programme.
- Support management with the training of new members of the monitoring team.

Administration
- Maintain equipment used within auditing team eg electronic hand held unit, office equipment.
- Ensure maintenance of office and information systems to meet both operational service needs and good administration practices.
- Responsible for maintaining and accurately inputting data on Microsoft programmes i.e monitoring and audit information.
- Responsible for generating reports using the electronic system and forwarding to appropriate parties.
