**Experienced Counter Sales/Branch Assistant - Bourne**

The sales and branch assistant role is a key position within the branch, they will be a team player, organised and be fully focused on customer service, also providing excellent product knowledge to help maximise sales and opportunities.
- Provide excellent service to customers both at the counter and over the telephone
- Build and maintain customer relationships to gain understanding of their requirements and advise when necessary.
- Identify sales opportunities and share these with the sales team
- Processing customer orders accurately in line with company procedures
- Be aware of local competitor activity and feedback to management
- Support restocking of shop areas maximizing availability and highlight any discrepancies. Some manual handling required in this role.
- Ensure all areas of both shop and warehouse are kept clean and tidy and safe working is adhered to

Assist in other areas of the branch as required

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Builders Merchant: 2 years (preferred)
- Trade/Retail sales: 2 years (preferred)
- Product Knowledge: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
