**Kirklees Council are advertising this role on behalf of Huddersfield New College.**

This role involves working outside in all seasons.

**Salary**: Range 3-5 of the NJC pay framework for Support Staff, £22,312 - £22,736 per annum (reduced to £12,061 - £12,290 per annum pro rata) to reflect the reduced working nature of this role. Standard practice is to appoint at bottom of scale.

In this role you will support the Facilities Manager, as part of an Estates Services team, to ensure the College grounds are maintained to an excellent standard providing a safe, welcoming, and clean environment for all.

You will have a keen eye for detail and be able to undertake physically demanding work in all weather conditions as necessary to undertake general repairs and ground maintenance. Good writing skills and strong communication skills are also essential for the role.
