An FMCG company are looking for Maintenance Engineer to join their fast-paced dynamic factory team as a days-based engineer. As a Maintenance Engineer you will optimise machinery output and product quality to minimise plant downtime through effective preventativemaintenance and efficient response.

As a Maintenance Engineer your day-to-day responsibilities will consist of.
- Responding to reactive electrical and mechanical machinery breakdowns quickly and efficiently and ensuring regular planned maintenance is carried out.
- Identifying root causes and suggesting possible improvements to prevent further breakdowns from occurring.
- Recording all relevant documentation accurately and on time.
- Ensure all activities are carried out within company and legislative health and safety and environmental guidelines reporting any issues.
- Follow the communicated escalation route for unscheduled plant downtime and minimise downtime by following a good engineering practice.

An exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer with the following.
- Apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Flexibility to fit in with days-based shift pattern.
- Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of PLC, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Excellent communication skills.
