**Job Title**: Membership Operations Executive

**Reporting to**:CEO

**Salary**: £25-28,000 pro rata

**Hours of work**:25 per week - negotiated over 4-5 days Mon-Fri.

In time there may be an option to extend hours

**Paid Holiday**: 20 days per annum - pro rata

**Incentive Bonus**: Discretionary bonus payment

**Start Date**: March 2024

**Location**: Chamber office in Sevenoaks and some home working

**Role overview**: We are looking to recruit a Membership Executive to join the Sevenoaks District Chamber of Commerce office. An interesting role with scope for development through managing membership events, maintaining and expanding the membership, administering subscriptions, preparing accounts and developing the social media profile in a not for profit organisation. The job structure is task based to encourage a productive work-life balance.

**JOB SKILLS REQUIREMENTS**:A high level of skill required for working with:

- **Office administration** - Word, Excel, Outlook, Zoom, Canva, Mailchimp
- **Social media** - administrator level skills for Linked In, Facebook, X Twitter and Instagram - able to design and send newsletters, promotional materials, and other publications to persons on mailing lists within the boundaries of GDPR
- **Event Management** - setting up and running events for regular networking meetings (24 per year) and one off special events (4 per year) plus administrator level Zoom skills
- **Accounts** - administrator level skills for accounts, preferably with Xero package. Able to collect and record receipts of dues, contributions and office costs and produce accounts reports
- **Website** - administrator level skills for Wordpress - able to design event pages and administer the payment portal WooCommerce
- **Membership data** - working knowledge of a CRM (Customer Relationship Management system) preferably Maximizer Training will be provided as appropriate.

- Excellent written skills
- Ability to work to timed deadlines and prioritise work

- Confidence in dealing with multiple tasks efficiently on a daily basis

**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage all aspects of membership administration using Membership Works, Xero, Mailchimp and Maximizer CRM systems
- Maintain renewals documentation and initialise new member sign ups and cancellations
- Maintain website development and perform basic updates on the WordPress website
- Develop and maintain the Chamber social media platforms and campaigns using Canva
- Design and develop member events for booking through the website using Wordpress
- Liaise with venues, and support on all aspects of event management
- Manage monthly events via Zoom and manage all communication pre
- and post-event
- Liaise with members and work with information held in the CRM (Customer Relationship Management system) Maximizer
- Manage invoices and member payments through the automated Membership Works and Xero accounts packages
