If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an Exams Officer at a Alternative Provision School in West Drayton.

**Role Overview**: As the Exams Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the school's exams programme while also supporting the administrative functions of the school office. You will be responsible for managing the school's data and exams processes, utilizing management information systems such as ARBOR to support school improvement initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage the school's data and exams processes, including the development and use of management information systems such as ARBOR to support school improvement.
- Organize and deliver the school's exams programme, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Coordinate exam schedules, timetables, and arrangements, liaising with exam boards, staff, and students to ensure smooth administration and conduct of exams.
- Maintain accurate records of exam entries, results, and assessments, providing timely reports and analysis as required.
- Support the administrative functions of the school office, including but not limited to reception duties, student record management, and general office administration tasks.
- Work collaboratively with other members of staff to support the holistic needs of students, particularly those with mental health needs and challenging behaviours.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working as an Exams Officer or in a similar administrative role within a school setting.
- Proficiency in using management information systems, with experience in ARBOR being highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when dealing with sensitive data and exam-related information.
- A compassionate and non-judgmental approach when working with young people presenting with mental health needs and challenging behaviours.
- Ability to remain calm, composed, and professional under pressure, with strong problem-solving skills.

**To be considered for this role you will need**:

- Teaching Assistant and / or Cover Supervisor experience
- A minimum of 3 months experience working with children up to KS4
- Qualified to degree level desirable but not essential
- Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable approach
- Positive and calm attitude
