**Job description**

Manor Barn Nursing Home is looking for a part time Lifestyle Coordinator to join their friendly team.

18 hours per week. Flexibility required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement engaging and enriching programs for residents in an assisted living and nursing home setting
- Plan and coordinate social, recreational, and educational activities to promote a fulfilling lifestyle for seniors
- Provide care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities
- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment that fosters social interaction and community engagement
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the well-being and satisfaction of residents
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and program evaluations

**Skills**:

- Experience in senior care, particularly in assisted living or nursing home settings ideal.
- Knowledge of dementia care and understanding of the unique needs of individuals with memory impairments
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, their families, and staff members
- Compassionate and patient demeanor to provide care and support to seniors

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £11.52 per hour

Expected hours: 18 per week
