We are looking for two highly motivated scientists to join our group to understand the mechanism of chromosome segregation in the kinetoplastid parasite _Trypanosoma brucei _. The aim of the project is to characterise one or more kinetoplastid kinetochore proteins in Trypanosoma brucei using a variety of techniques including cell biology, biochemistry, biophysics, structural biology and/or mathematical modelling.

- A PhD in biological science
- Proven track record of high-quality research in cell biology, protein biochemistry, or related field
- Experience in cell biology, biochemistry, biophysics, structural biology and/or mathematical modelling
- An ability to work independently as well as in a research team A desire to learn new techniques and to make discoveries
