We are looking for a motivated, committed person who will be responsible for collecting, analysing, interpreting and presenting information to system stakeholders.

You will proactively communicate findings and encourage utilization of data. This may often require looking beyond initial requirements and challenging assumptions.

You will be able to turn complex data analyses into clear and compelling messages and will succeed in presenting visualizations that communicate complex messages.

Our clinical teams deliver many NHS services not only via inpatient and primary care setting but also with the community. These services include Children, Adult & Older Peoples mental & physical health, Forensic & Specialist mental health, Learning Disabilities, Primary Care & Liaison psychiatry, Substance misuse, Social care, Research & Development.

- Support the delivery of cross-system operational performance reporting, contracting, analysis and management of financial risk.
- Ensure information from across the system is obtained, analysed, interpreted and utilised to support programme and project planning.
- Work with members of the local System and with business intelligence teams across the system including in general practice, local NHS providers, the CCG, local authorities and other stakeholders to drive short and long term improvement in data and analysis.
- Support that the Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Programme such that the work streams have effective Business Intelligence systems in place to give stakeholders access to Intelligence on health services and the health needs of the population in relation to mental health and learning disabilities.
- Support Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Programme’s development of systems and processes for data receipt, processing and management of population, health service data and any other wider determinants of health.
- Ensure that information analysis promotes effective decision making through the provision of timely business intelligence. Presentation and access to intelligence must be tailored to the different skills and abilities of end users.
- Ensure that the business planning requirements of MH and LD work streams are met: through the provision of routine and ad-hoc activity and cost information, modelling and analysis; utilising spread sheets, databases and other analytical tools across a range of data sets; to underpin:
a. Strategic plannin

b. Business planning

c. Service redesign
d. Service modelling
e. Development and modelling of Business Cases
f. Annual contract modelling
g. Contract negotiation and agreement
h. Contract monitoring and management - activity and clinical quality
I. Invoice validation
j. Evaluation of projects and service changes
