We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Forest School Lead to guide an innovative outdoor learning initiative across North and West Yorkshire.

**About the Role**:
As the Forest School Lead, you will be at the forefront of the outdoor education curriculum, designing and implementing, engaging and educational, safe outdoor activities that promote child-centred learning and development. This position offers the opportunity to lead the school-based programme and to develop the popular holiday clubs and stay-and-play clubs, making a lasting impact on students.

**A Level 3 Forest School Leader qualification is essential for this role.**
- Develop, deliver, and oversee the implementation of the Forest curriculum across multiple locations.
- Lead and expand holiday clubs and stay-and-play clubs.
- Facilitate outdoor learning experiences that promote children’s holistic development.
- Train and mentor staff in forest school practices and child safety.
- Collaborate with other educators to integrate outdoor learning with the broader curriculum.
- Manage resources and maintain the outdoor learning environment.
- Engage with parents and the community to promote the benefits of outdoor learning.

**To be considered for this role you will have the following essential qualifications**:

- A Level 3 Forest School Leader qualification.
- Outdoor first aid qualification.
- Ability to work collaboratively and foster a team environment.
- Driven and capable of working independently.
- Additional qualifications in sports.
- Safeguarding qualification.
- A passion for education and a firm belief in the benefits of outdoor learning.
- Experience leading outdoor education programmes or similar, ideally with a geographical focus on North and West Yorkshire.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire children and adults alike with an enthusiasm for nature and learning.
