We have a vacancy for a full-time Forest School Lead to join our team. You will be responsible for leading our Forest School team, promoting the LGR vision & ethos, whilst creating a warm, safe and enjoyable environment for the children.

This would be a great role for someone who has a real passion for the outdoors. You will be able to plan, develop, and implement high quality teaching and learning, while working in a busy environment. You will have a strong work ethic and be able to fully embrace our Forest School principals within an outdoor setting and enjoy working closely with fellow Forest School staff and the Nursery Management team. Being proactive and a positive role model to the staff, students and children is essential and you must be able to deal with any challenges that may arise, within the company standards and going the extra mile in delivering the LGR vision.

**Requirements for a Forest School Leader**:

- Minimum Level 3 Childcare qualification
- To be suitably experienced in a childcare setting or forest environment
- Posses a Forest School Qualification
- Driving License

**Responsibilities for a Forest School Leader**:

- Maintain a safe, secure, and caring environment in which you can deliver high quality teaching and learning experiences.
- To lead the group in providing a friendly, caring and stimulating environment to encourage and develop children in our care.
- To support the Management team in maintaining staff levels.
- You will be expected to go that extra mile to help deliver the Green Rascals vision of Exceptional Childcare in Exceptional Surroundings.
