Are you ready to be a vital part of our team, responsible for processing shipments from start to finish? We are seeking an Import Operator to join our highly experienced team and provide efficient and proactive service to our customers and related service providers. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and be part of a fast-paced environment.

Hours: 4 on 4 off 07:00 - 19:00

Location London Heathrow

**What you will be doing?**
- Planning and organising the unloading of all Aero's imports from the UK and Europe to Ireland
- Maximising load capacity and efficiently scheduling drivers and vehicles to maintain and develop profit margins
- Creating, maintaining, and forwarding all necessary administrative records for cargo imports to Ireland using our in-house computer system
- Communicating directly with customers, and suppliers, and collaborating with all other internal departments
- Demonstrating flexibility to meet the ever-changing demands of the transport industry and exceed customer expectations
- Approaching work with patience and consideration to manage a dynamic and variable workload effectively

**About You**:

- Previous experience in airfreight import is desirable
- Customer-focused with a willingness to learn and adapt
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Committed to delivering quality service.
- A minimum GCSE standard in English and Maths (or equivalent) is essential
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
