Import Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Import Operations Manager to join our team at fish4.co - Jobboard. As a key member of our freight forwarding team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient clearance of air and sea freight.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Customs clearance processes for air and sea freight
  • Develop and maintain ERTS compliance records
  • Implement inventory controls and ensure accurate tracking
  • Liaise with Border Force and regulatory bodies to resolve any issues
  • Collaborate with airlines and airport handlers to ensure timely and accurate shipment information
  • Ensure quality control procedures are up-to-date and adhered to
  • Audit and ensure compliance with all regulations
  • Process duty and VAT reclaims
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support
  • Work closely with colleagues and line manager to resolve any issues or concerns

As a successful Import Operations Manager, you will possess excellent problem-solving skills, be highly organized, and have a strong attention to detail. You will also be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
