**Your new opportunity**

**Fountainview** are looking for Relief Support Workers within their small Adult Care home set within **Quarriers village**.

There are 7 People we support who stay within the cottage who all have their own bedroom with ensuites, and all share the lounge and dining kitchen.

All the People we support have Person Centred support Plans and their own hobbies and interest. A selection of interests includes Gardening, Baking and arts and crafts.

The support staff ensure that People we support are able to maintain their Independence by going for their own personal shop and attending community events throughout the local area.

In the evening Support staff will be required to supervise People we support who maybe awake at night time and provide support as necessary

All new staff will have the opportunity to have service specific training, together with mandatory training. Each new staff member will have the support of mentors within the service who will assist with induction and development.

**Typical shifts would include**:
Please note we manage shifts on a rotational basis where staff work a variety of shifts to meet the needs of the people we support and will include working weekends. Sleepover shifts are paid at an hourly rate of £10.90 and can also offer extra earning potential. Nightshifts are paid at £11.88 from 11pm - 7am.

**What you will need to succeed/bring to the role**
- Compassion and kindness to support people in their day to day lives.
- Enthusiasm and self-motivation.
- Excellent problem solver who is driven by positive outcomes.
- Resilient, reliable and an excellent listener.
- Good IT & communication skills.
- A full driving license is desirable.
