Picture yourself working in a beautiful, serene location where each night brings new chances to support young people with unique needs. This full-time, permanent role offers nightshifts three nights a week (33 hours). Shifts are from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM, providing you with a schedule that includes enhanced pay rates up to £14.51 per hour during these hours.

You will provide a nurturing and safe environment for young people with autism, ADHD, and other sensory needs. Some of these individuals are non-verbal and have faced significant challenges, but with your help, they can thrive and reach their full potential.

As an Intensive Support Practitioner on our nightshift team, you will work closely with young people, sometimes on a 1:2:1 basis, adapting your support to meet their individual needs. You will help with night-time routines, ensuring they are safe and comfortable, and be available to respond effectively to signs of distress and manage emergency situations with confidence and care.

To be successful in this role, you need an HNC in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People). If you do not hold both the HNC and the SVQ Level 3, you must have at least one and be prepared to work towards achieving the other within an agreed period. Experience working with children and families in similar settings is essential. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, a commitment to ongoing learning and development to tailor care to each individual's needs, flexibility, reliability, and a trauma-informed approach to care are also crucial. A driver’s license and access to your own transport is desirable due to our idyllic location.
