Senior Baker

We are looking for a highly motivated and creative Senior Baker to join our growing small team. The position is salaried for 35 hours over a 4 day working week.

We are a bread bakery - there is no pastry production involved in the role. We do occasionally work with sweet doughs, but this is not currently part of our daily production.

The role will involve early starts (earliest start being 3am), weekend work and bank holiday work. Lots of free bread, staff pizzas, tea and coffee

Plattsville Bakehouse is a wholesale artisan bread bakery in South Liverpool, baking for independent restaurants, cafes and shops across the city. We have a strong focus on environmental impact and so our goal here is to bake great bread without costing the Earth. We work with high quality organic and regeneratively farmed flours, and the bakery runs on 100% renewable energy. We bake a lot of sourdough bread, but also work with a range of long prove yeasted breads and very occasionally a small selection of sweet bakes.

The bakery is a fun, creative and challenging place to work where no two days are the same. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal, however we do work very hard and attention to detail is absolutely paramount. Our clients expect consistent, high quality breads EVERY DAY

Pay: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
