As a senior technical support engineer, you will be responsible for developing a plan for your own department. Involved in discussions with other functions and teams about improvement in processes, procedures and ways of working. Contributing to plan of larger unit.
 

As a senior technical support engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Owning the resolution of post-sales technical customer issues.
  • Demonstrating/lead initiatives with detailed scope and large impact
  • Presenting to senior leaders specific to the Chemical technical space and on cross functional teams on how technologies interconnect.
  • Acting as primary point of contact and trusted advisor to customers to build relationships and ensure customer success
  • Forecasting and scheduling to maximize effective and efficient use of people and resources
  • Building successful long term customer relationships that lead to high levels of customer satisfaction and contract growth

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have BSc (High School Diploma or GED) with solid experience in Technical Support
  • Have experience working in the Downstream Chemical or Petrochemical industry.
  • Show ability to influence others and lead small teams
  • Have ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrate lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
