We’re looking for a Stores Operative for our Daventry branch who can provide support to the Operations Manager and Installation Engineers to ensure that the stores are maintained to a high standard, stock is dealt with and managed quickly and efficiently, being picked and delivered to the relevant installation sites. We do things a bit differently here and provide training for our team to diversify their skills so they can support with the installation of the different products that we offer. We have branches all over the country so you’ll mainly work in the area local to the branch with some support provided to other branches as needed.

**What you can do for us**:

- Carry out inventory/stock checks and ensure records are up to date
- Ordering and collection of goods
- Ensuring goods are stored correctly and within designated areas, in line with health and safety
- Ensure goods are available to the operations team when required
- Safely deliver goods to jobs to support he operations team
- Assisting the Operations Manager with ensuring sites are ready for installation.
- Delivering stock to other branch locations
- Ensure that storage facilities are kept clean and tidy.
- Provide general support to the Operations team.
- Oversee good collection and drop offs at the site’s storage facilities
- Ensure stock is quality checked on arrival, carry out stock checks and record any stock differences and/or damages

**You’ll need**:

- Great organizational and time management skills
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly can-do attitude
- Problem solving skills and strong attention to detail
- Manual handling and lifting experience
- Good IT skills, particularly with MS Office and stock control software
- Full UK driving licence including category C & D

**Good to have**:

- Forklift licence
- Renewable Energy Technology experience
- Previous Stores experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
