An exciting opportunity has arisen for a People & Resourcing Advisor to support our People Campus team. People Campus is a virtual team of colleagues supporting Wincanton sites that are geographically close together.

The role will include supporting a culture of continuous improvement to ensure that our objectives are achieved and maintained through the performance of people and projects. You will need to be able to influence stakeholders at all levels providing support and guidance in order to deliver a pragmatic and commercial solution to recruitment.

This role offers a mixture of working from home and working in local sites with potentially occasional travel to Northampton.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Initiate new recruitment solutions such as utilising job boards, Linked In and other internal / external network to advertise and attract new talent into the business, specifically warehouse colleagues
- Provide support and guidance to hiring managers through our recruitment platform within Oracle cloud
- Reporting to the People Manager, you will focus on key project areas to support the People team to provide the “added value” to our operational and functional teams. These projects will strengthen our engagement, training and development and HR compliance focus
- Support and improve absence management at site level including the active management of welfare meetings and OH referrals
- Responsibility for providing advice and generalist HR support to the People Campus colleagues and managers
- Produce accurate weekly and monthly reports as required and work to relevant HR KPI’s
- Travel will be required to support the local sites that the People Campus colleagues service

**Skills and experience required**:

- Resourcing experience in a high-volume environment
- Experience of working in warehouse or logistics recruitment
- The ability to work in a highly agile, fast paced matrix environment whilst managing a variety of senior stakeholders
- Able to prioritise issues in an efficient manner and to effectively support and challenge where appropriate
- Possess the interpersonal skills, integrity and commercial awareness to maintain excellent working relationships at all levels
- Ability to work well under pressure whilst demonstrating strong organisational skills
- Enthusiastic and self-disciplined with a proactive approach to work
- Analytical skills to interpret data
- Obtained or working towards CIPD Level 3 qualification
- Good technical HR knowledge and understanding of current employment law/progressive HR practices
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills and experience of working with recruitment and HR systems
- Passionate about developing and supporting colleagues to fulfil their potential
- Pragmatic, resilient and a self-starter, and able to work on own initiative
- Strong communication skills and a natural ability to build relationships quickly
