RSK Group is one of the UK’s largest environmental geotechnical and contaminated land consultancies. Due to continued growth in the topographical survey department, we now have an exciting opportunity for an **Assistant Land Surveyor to join our Glasgow team**, who currently provide surveying services to support our clients in the property, civil engineering, oil and gas, nuclear, renewable energy, water and transport sectors in the UK and overseas.

**Responsibilities will Include**:

- Assisting our Land Surveyors in data collection though multiple practices:

- Topographical Surveys & Terrain modelling
- Measured Building and 3D scanning
- Learning to process data in survey software and finalise in AutoCAD
- Undertaking any other activities required to help our land surveyors complete their works
- Completing site documentation for site work crews
- Learning technical knowledge to further develop into a land surveying career
- Drafting data or help finalising reports.
- Other duties that may include organising equipment and store room, van checks and keeping equipment maintained.

**What we are looking for**:
**Requirements**:

- Strong work ethic and desiring to learn new skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Reasonable IT Skills
- Flexibility of working away from home and occasionally out of hours

**Advantageous**
- Experience using AutoCAD.
- Experience using Microsoft software such as Excel, Word etc.
- GCSE in mathematics
- Already have an understand/knowledge of surveying principals.
