We are a 44-bed care home, providing quality, diverse care to our residents

**The day-to-day & your experience**
- With a genuine passion for working in care, you will support best practice and supervise the care team, to ensure the care delivered meets the personal needs of each resident in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence.
- To provide support and management to the Registered Manager of the home, overseeing day-to-day management/supervision of all employees to ensure a high quality of care is maintained and liaising with the Registered Manager on all general administration and operational matters.
- You will take pride in creating an atmosphere which will help stimulate residents, to lead as full a life as possible in safety, with choice, dignity, and independence.
- Taking a holistic approach, with the support & involvement of your team, you will work closely with your residents, their families, and clinicians to ensure all psychological, emotional, social, intellectual, spiritual, and physical needs are met.
- You will take responsibility for the provision of dementia care and administration of medication as prescribed by the doctor, for all residents.
- Skilled in leading and inspiring your team, you will take a hands-on approach to look after residents living with varied conditions including Dementia.
- Keeping appropriate and up to date records in place relating to the care of residents, ensuring they are reviewed in accordance with company policy.
- Support the work of the activities co-ordinator to ensure positive social, recreational, and therapeutic actives are available to residents as appropriate to their care plan.
- To adopt an environment of openness and transparency.
- To provide support and management to the Registered Manager of the home, overseeing day-to-day management/supervision of all employees to ensure a high quality of care is maintained and liaising with the Registered Manager on all general administration and operational matters.
- To ensure that all current and newly referred residents are properly assessed, and that person-centred support is provided for all individuals.
- You are easily able to communicate on all levels, with a creative ability to think outside the box and problem solve.
- Holding an NVQ level 3 in care (or equivalent) and be willing to work to a level 4. (Essential).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- Plymouth, PL3 4SR: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
