To provide excellent customer service by proactively engaging with all customers to promote and assist in the driving of sales. To support the sales team in all administrative tasks, ensuring timely completion and deadlines are met on a timely basis

**Responsibilities**
- To collaborate with the sales team to develop and maintain customer relationships and assist in generating Sales
- To generate leads and follow through to completion or transfer relevant leads to the Senior Sales team to follow through.
- Communicate with clients to gather information, address enquiries and provide exceptional customer service
- Assist the Sales team by processing, preparing sales quotations, proposals and orders.
- Co-ordinate orders to ensure timely conclusions by collaborating with other departments internal and external to ensure smooth work flow and effective communication is maintained at all times and customers’ requirements are being met.
- Update management systems, ensuring databases are accurate and any accompanying documentation is completed.
- Assist with the collation of data to support reporting requirements of the Sales team.
- Assist in the management of customer accounts ensuring timely delivery on products.
- Get involved in a wider variety of export activities as the role progresses
- Provide reception duties, welcoming visitors to site and ensuring on-site processes and policies are maintained.
- To act as the main contact to all telephone enquires into the business, maintaining a professional standard at all times. Answering and dealing with enquiries promptly and efficiently, delivering an excellent customer service.

**Techincal Skills/Experience**

Ø Previous experience of working within an Internal Sales department

Ø Experience of engineering, manufacturing environments

Ø Import and export experience would be a distinct advantage

Ø Good IT skills to include Excel, Word and Outlook along with knowledge/awareness of in-house systems

Ø Effective communicator both oral and written

Ø Highly organised with great attention to detail

Ø Works well individually as well as in a team supporting team members
