We are seeking an ambitious and motivated individual to work alongside our Aftercare team to help with post-project client queries.

We currently have a great opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our Aftercare team.

This role will ideally suit someone looking to start out their career in project management or someone that has some experience in the industry and is looking to take on more responsibility.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- To visit existing clients post completion of main works and maintain a great relationship / liaising with the relationship manager as appropriate.
- To lead new client care opportunities to understand project objectives and client brief, through to design development, procurement and delivery.
- Co-ordinate all aspects of the project(s) with the support of the Client Care Lead, ensuring the client brief is understood by all.
- Ensure the wider team is fully aware of their duties and timescales and ensure they deliver. Set and maintain high standards of quality on all projects.
- Produce and agree budgets with client. Monitor throughout project and update as appropriate.
- To actively respond to clients in a timely manner and ensure expectations are met.
- Produce cost plan showing actual costs against budget. Monitor throughout project to ensure margins are maintained or improved and take appropriate action.
- Manage the process of cost control pro-actively and not on a historic basis and report any unforeseen additional cost expenditure promptly.
- Identify opportunities to increase margins.
- Request, review & collate contractor & supplier quotations.
- Consider quote specification options as well as review value engineering options, to achieve the desired margins.
- Be aware of credit worthiness of client, contractors and suppliers throughout project.
- Ensure all client invoices are issued as the contract dates state and ensure all contractors and suppliers invoices are signed and approved for payment within agreed payment terms.
- Assist Finance Manager in debt collection when required.
- Ensure completion snagging prior to handover, aim for zero defects.
- Assist and arrange and chair client and supplier meetings and issue minutes within 48 hours.
- Maintain high levels of communication with clients, suppliers and fellow project team employees.
- Be responsible for coordinating contractors on site, including control all aspects of health and safety and promoting high standards. Ensure operatives and site management are aware of their roles. Monitor performance on site and take appropriate action.
- Ensure that safety is not compromised in the interests of programme or cost. Assist in producing and issuing all H&S documentation across projects including reviewing contractor RAMS, preparing construction phase plans and support the Client Care Lead in delivering full and complete Operation & Maintenance manuals to our clients at the end of a project.
- Ensure that all relevant insurances are in place for the project(s).
- Maximise sales opportunities throughout project(s).

**Essential**:

- Excellent administrative skills and ability to work under pressure to track and manage a high volume of enquiries.
- Experience in preparing budgets and quotations and liaising with suppliers.
- Experience in placing orders, coordinating suppliers and understanding how to coordinate different trades on sites.
- Ability to work under own initiative.

- Ability to influence others, including promoting site safety & client decision making.
- Be located in, or willing to relocate to the Bath/Bristol area.

**Desirable**:

- Experience in preparing budgets and quotations and liaising with suppliers.
- Experience in using MS Sharepoint, customer and relationship databases and finance systems.
- Experience in using AutoCAD 2D.
- Experience in having being part of a live site.
- Hold key health & safety certifications including but not limited to, SMSTS, First Aid, Fire Marshal & Asbestos Awareness.
