**Description**

**Inside Sales Co-Ordinator **will be responsible to coordinate and follow up customer’s enquiries, orders, purchase orders to maintain the best possible support and logistics for both external and internal customers.

**IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL**:

- Administer and update Company orders and sales databases;
- Recording of all new enquires and orders on the Peterlee Quotation Log:

- Forwarding as needed enquires to third parties, i.e., Biffi, Shafer etc.;
- Expediting timely response from these third parties;
- Order entry on to the business system. Working across multiple European countries, consisting of:

- Initial order review;
- Order Entry. Day to day / simple orders only;
- Expediating outstanding or missing info. i.e., revised orders, TSF etc.
- Provide frontline administration support to ACT Sales employees to include, but not limited to, preparing documents using Word and PowerPoint, answering phones, contact and coordinate, and assist with customer order / product expediting;
- Provide superior customer service to distinguish ACT from its competitors, provide professional internal and external communication both written and spoken, and provide timely follow up;
- Review customer purchase orders commercially; for correct pricing, discounts, terms & conditions;
- Using standardized European and Business Unit processes, ensure the timely entering of orders into the sales order processing system verifying that all data is checked and accurate;
- Issue Order acknowledgements to customer and resolve any queries;
- Respond to customer queries in relation to; order status and expediting;
- Work with the team to identify and eliminate ineffective process, practices or procedures, working towards efficient, effective and timely improvement of activities, with a right first time and customer first culture;
- Ensure full compliance with legal and Company requirements with regards to Trade Compliance and Ethical Business and follow the necessary procedures;
- Other responsibilities or tasks that are within your skills and abilities, whenever reasonably instructed.

**FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED**:

- Business Administration qualification preferred but not essential;
- Experience of ERP systems;
- Proven track record of working in a customer service and/or administration environment;
- Experience of developing successful cross functional relationships internally, within a matrix organisation advantageous;
- Demonstrate good communication skills, both verbally and in writing;
- Demonstrate a pro-active, flexible and pragmatic approach;
- English fluency to business standard essential;
- Computer literacy essential;
- Demonstrate the Emerson Values.
