Designated Professional Safeguarding Adults

Designated Professional for safeguarding adults required in accordance with Safeguarding Assurance and Accountability Framework, 2015, Intercollegiate Document 2018, to support HWEICB assurance that safeguarding adults is robust across Health.

The postholder will work in partnership with Hertfordshire and Essex Local Authority as required, work collaboratively with all Health, Independent, Voluntary, Public Health organisations to support/protect adults at risk

The post holder is required to provide strategic leadership, clinical expertise, specialist knowledge, support and supervision on adult safeguarding and associated issues, including domestic abuse, Mental Capacity Act (MCA), Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards Prevent and Modern Day Slavery.

Deputise for the AD safeguarding as required.
