**Summary**

As Learning Designer, you will be part of a small, agile team, working towards creating innovative and impactful learning solutions at M&S. Combining your creative flair with deep understanding of design thinking and learning theory to ensure solutions meet the needs our learners and deliver tangible outcomes.

Working collaboratively with Development Partners, business partners and SME’s, you will provide insight and guidance on learning approaches to shape the design brief and lead the way in ensuring solutions are enhancing our vision for a learning culture at M&S.

Please note this role is a 12 month fixed term contract.

**What you’ll do**

Your key accountabilities will include
- Be an independent, creative problem solver grounded in real-world delivery with credible experience of what best-in-class learning experiences look like for today’s workplace
- Act as the design lead and authority for learning design, ensuring that learning solutions are user-centric, accessible, measurable, scalable and sustainable.
- Design learning solutions for a range of project requirements with end-to-end project delivery
- Collaborate with Development Partners, business SMEs and further business partners to develop and deliver appropriate learning solutions to meet our needs
- Ensure all learning solutions delivered align to the business objectives and deliver clear outcomes

**Who you are**

Your skills and experience will include
- Experience working as a learning instructional designer, delivering end-to-end projects
- Experience using authoring tools such as Articulate, Adobe Suite and Learning Management Systems
- Knowledge and experience of Design Thinking as a model for learner led design
- Project management knowledge with the ability to structure, plan, control and co-ordinate tasks
