Established in 1880, British Millerain is a family owned têxtile manufacturer based in Rochdale.

We are recruiting for a Stock Control Administrator to join our growing team. This is an integral role within the business which feeds into the purchasing, production and logistics functions, reporting directly to the Production Manager.

Main Duties of the Role:

- Raising production orders and allocating raw material stock to production
- Monitoring base fabric stock availability for production and production of stock reports
- Raising purchase orders for raw materials (chemicals and fabric)
- Raising supplier payments - deposits & balances by TT or LC
- Tracking of deposit payments and the status of open purchase orders
- Liaising with suppliers on order changes & updates on shipping dates
- Weekly stock reporting
- Inputting receipts from production (finished stock) onto SAP
- Maintaining fabric imports files
- Working closely with the Production Manager to develop and implement stock control and production order procedures
- Ad-hoc admin as required to support the production department

Person Specification:

- Highly organised with an excellent attention to detail
- Self-motivated
- Task driven
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Pro-active in their approach and able to respond to changing priorities
- Proficient in Outlook, Excel and SAP
- Salary negotiable depending on experience

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- No weekends

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus scheme
- Yearly bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Rochdale: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Administrative: 3 years (required)
- Stock taking: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving (preferred)

Work Location: One location
