This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join the Women's & Children's care Group, Colposcopy team to provide a brilliant first class administrative support to the department ensuring a seamless patient experience from referral to treatment.
We are seeking a dynamic, well-organised, and pro-active Lead Colposcopy co-ordinator
You will need a working knowledge of all key Hospital IT systems and knowledge of the NHS Cervical Screening Programme and colposcopy pathway, to enable monitoring and oversight of the efficient and effective management of the patient journey during their colposcopy care.

You should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a good eye for detail, and be a true team player. The ability to organise and prioritise work under pressure so as to meet strict deadlines is an essential feature of this job and ensure early escalation of any potential problems.
You should also have sound experience of PAS, Maxims, and a robust knowledge of the current NHS referral to treatments targets along with the practical experience to back this up. This role involves working closely with the Clinical Administration Lead to support the delivery of national access targets.

The role of the Colposcopy Co-ordinator Lead is to lead in the provision of administrative support for the Colposcopy Service and Colposcopists.
This includes active monitoring and oversight of the delivery of service to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in line with national screening and Trust standards through specialist knowledge ensure correct patient pathways are followed from referral through to discharge or onward referral from the service in line with Trust policy in full co-operation with the Clinical Administration Lead (CAL) and the Care Group Management Team, ensuring best practice is maintained at all times.
The post holder will be responsible for all additions, removals, amendments and validation of the Trust’s waiting lists within their respective Specialty.
To provide cover for and assist as appropriate colleagues in a similar role.
To act as a knowledgeable and reliable first point of contact for the service.
