UK Food Packers specialises in contract packing services to the food industry, we produce and pack a wide range of sauces and seasoning into different packaging formats.

We are a progressive company with expansion plans, which will provide further opportunities for the right people.

**Job description**

Due to expansion, we require permanent staff with immediate effect, in both full and part time roles.

Running machines, general packing duties, we have BRC Grade AA+ acreditation, a high level of house keeping is required.

We currently operate a day shift of 8am until 4pm Monday to Friday, we also operate an afternoon shift as required, 4 shifts Mon to Thur from 1pm to 12 midnight, with a shift allowence of £100 per week.

We can also offer flexible part time hours if required.

Overtime is required as and when we need it, paid at time and a half.

**Duties Include**:

- To perform manufacturing operations, ensuring that satisfactory product is produced efficiently at minimum waste levels.
- Comply with organisational policies and procedures.
- To comply with safety and environmental procedures.
- To supply customers with good quality product and meet deadlines.
- To maintain a high standard of housekeeping.

**PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES**:

- Work under own initiative and as part of a team
- Safety conscious.
- Must be literate, numerate and be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Physically fit.
- Able to work under pressure at a fast pace.

**EXPERIENCE**:

- It would be an advantage to have previously worked in a busy production environment, not essential as full training schedule will be provided.
