Part-time Payroll Administrator

The successful applicant will have good knowledge and experience of payroll processing and procedures. The roll involves:

- End to end payroll - processing weekly and monthly managing and processing a number of client payrolls
- Ensuring statutory compliance on all pay related practices - understanding statutory payments such as statutory maternity/paternity and shared parental pay
- Keeping abreast of payroll related statutory legislation
- Managing payroll related enquiries
- Reconciliation of accounts
- Calculation of PAYE, NI, Pension, Gross pay, and Statutory payments within required deadlines
- Year-end processes including preparation of P11Ds and HMRC submissions
- Assisting the team as reasonably required
- Ability to work independently - this is a remote position
- Excellent organisational skills - ability to manage and prioritise your workload and time
- Experience of working within a Payroll transactional environment
- Payroll experience, including all year-end activities
- Previous experience of Payroll systems, ideally Brightpay, Payroll Manager and Staffology
- Sound knowledge of payroll legislation
- Good numeracy skills
- Strong IT and accurate data entry skills
- Attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- High level of confidentiality
