Perfect part time role for a creative person

Do you have a creative spirit and enjoy organising engaging activities? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Activities Co-ordinator to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Organise a varied range of activities to entertain and engage our residents, ensuring they are stimuating, enjoyable and suitable for all abilities and interests.
- Create a monthly activities calendar and distribute it to residents, staff, and families to keep them informed of upcoming events.
- Encourage resident participation in activities, making sure to cater to individual preferences and abilities.
- Provide necessary support and assistance to residents during activities, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
- Collaborate with other staff members, to integrate activities into residents' care plans.
- Maintain an inventory of supplies and materials needed for activities, ensuring they are well-stocked and readily available.
- Evaluate the success and impact of activities through resident feedback, observation, and assessment, making adjustments as needed.
- Document and maintain accurate records of residents' participation in activities.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in co-ordinating activities preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and connect with residents of different backgrounds and abilities.
- Strong organisational and time management skills to plan and execute a variety of activities simultaneously.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative and engaging activities for residents.
- Compassionate and patient nature.
- Enhanced DBS required

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 15 per week
