Mental Health Support Worker

We are currently seeking a Mental Health Support Worker to join a specialist school based on the Wirral. In this role, you will provide one-on-one support and guidance to students dealing with a wide range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety,attachment diorders and trauma.

The role is Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.15pm term time only. The school is well located on trains, bus and motorway.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide emotional support and practical guidance to individuals dealing with mental health issues
- Develop and implement individualised care plans to meet the needs of each student
- Facilitate 1:1 working environments for certain students
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care

Qualifications:

- A degree or diploma in a related field (such as social work, psychology, or counselling)
- Experience working with individuals dealing with mental health issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
