**Job Vacancy**:Housing Support Worker
**Location**:Merseyside
**Contract type**:Temp/9-Month
**Work Pattern**:Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
**DBS check required**:Yes

**As a Housing Support Worker, your primary duties will include**:

- Providing support and assistance to vulnerable people living in our housing units, including those with physical and mental health needs, disabilities, or other complex needs.
- Working with residents to develop individual care plans and support packages and monitoring their progress to ensure that their needs are being met.
- Ensuring that the building and its facilities are maintained to a high standard, including carrying out routine maintenance and repairs as required.
- Liaising with external agencies and stakeholders, such as social workers, health professionals, and support groups, to ensure that residents receive the best possible care and support.
- Keeping accurate records and documentation relating to resident care and support, as well as building maintenance and repairs.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within a housing or social care setting.
- A caring and compassionate approach to supporting vulnerable people, with a strong commitment to promoting their independence and wellbeing.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands.
- A positive attitude towards learning and development, with a willingness to undertake training and develop new skills as required.
- A current, enhanced DBS check.

**Also, will be required to go through an enhanced DBS check.**
