With a small, agile team of passionate individuals, we specialize in developing user-friendly solutions aimed at facilitating the re-entry process for mature workers, coupled with personalized in-person support. Our mission is to empower mature individuals to find meaningful employment opportunities by offering a comprehensive solution that combines digital tools, human-centred design, and hands-on assistance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct user research, user testing, and analysis to gain insights into the needs, preferences, and behaviours of mature workers re-entering the workforce, both in digital and real-life contexts.
- Develop wireframes, mock-ups, prototypes, and user flows iteratively, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and users for both digital and real-life solutions.
- Work closely with the engineering lead to ensure seamless implementation of digital designs and coordinate with real-life support team members to integrate in-person services seamlessly.
- Iterate and refine designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and evolving product and service requirements, using an iterative design thinking approach.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies, design trends, and best practices in UI/UX design and design thinking, adapting strategies as needed for our startup environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Ideally a bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. Experience or other qualification routes considered.
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment, with a strong understanding of design thinking methodologies.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and experience designing for digital products, with a focus on human-centred design.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and analysis.
- Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
- Ability to work effectively in a small, collaborative team environment with a high degree of autonomy and flexibility.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for making a positive impact on the lives of mature workers through innovative design and technology, coupled with a real-life support approach anchored in design thinking principles.
