**The Role**

We are looking for a new **Head of Executive Office **reporting to the **Pensions and Savings CEO **to become a key member of the P&S Leadership team. This role will play a pivotal part in implementing the strategic priorities of the P&S value center, undertaking significant activity with and on behalf of the leadership team to ensure that the office of the CEO runs smoothly from governance through to execution, ensuring all deliverables are supporting the P&S vision.

**Responsibilities**
- Define, embed and maintain governance structure across P&S to ensure meets executive, regulatory and business requirements, promoting clear and effective decision making.
- Review key documents and prepare briefing packs for meetings involving the P&S CEO, including Group and Life Boards, Executive Committees and Business Review Meetings. Engaging the Senior Leadership to frame the discussion, set expectations in advance and drive the completion of follow up actions.
- Centralised ownership of P&S CEO reporting to ensure consistency in standards and quality of submissions. Demonstrating a deep understanding of the strategy, vision and delivery plans linked to the reporting content to ensure the reporting of the clear and succinct messages in a timely manner.
- Leading of P&S business initiatives, working across teams to lead on the delivery of small projects, ensuring well developed scoping, delivery plans and updates to the leadership as required.
- Maximise efficiency and effectiveness in collaboration with colleagues and in partnership with the Leadership Team. Supporting setting the direction of P&S leadership, driving the agendas, and creating space for required education, development and team communication. Ensuring a structured balance across strategic, planning, performance and operational activities.
- Proactively driving the P&S culture and comms heartbeat working in collaboration with internal comms, HR and business managers to develop, manage and communicate Pension and Savings strategy, performance and success stories, with the goal of improving P&S engagement.
- Management of the Business Management and Senior Leadership communities; setting the proposals for these to set best practice standards, improve ways of working and ensure timely cascades and communications as required.

**What we are looking for**
- Gravitas and strong interpersonal skills to build trust and collaborate with business and senior leadership.
- A proven track record of operating at a senior leadership level with broad experience from across various areas of business.
- Strong experience in and knowledge of the financial services, ideally in the pensions industry.
- The ability to see the bigger picture and contribute at a strategic level, while able to balance connecting the dots of more granular levels of detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage a complex workload, with high demands and changing parameters.
