**Overview of project/role**
The Rail for London (Infrastructure) (RfLI) Technical Compliance Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and assisting the IME Manager's team in the assurance and compliance management associated with delivery of safety of line inspections, asset monitoring, maintenance, like for like renewal and enhancements prioritisation, asset stewardship and life / performance optimization. This will include the control of technical documentation, asset management systems and competency management systems for the team.

The Technical Compliance Coordinator is responsible for monitoring compliance and assurance for the team and communicating internally and externally regarding technical compliance. This includes compliance reporting, coordinating engineering review meetings and internal auditing coordination.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Assist the IME Manager to deliver the overall safety of line and safety critical asset / systems inspection, compliance, work prioritisation, quality and tactical deployment requirements. This includes compliance with technical standards, processes, procedures and performance requirements applicable to RfLI assets.
- Set up and coordination of Engineering Reviews using information from maintenance support systems.
- Provide analytical and intranet support for the IME Manager and wider team
- Keeping maintenance support systems up to date using outputs from engineering reviews and competency assessments
- Gathering asset condition information and communicating effectively to ensure safety and functional limits are met
- Coordinating internal audits and technical checks as per audit programme. Monitoring, reporting and communicating progress on audit outputs
- Coordinator of RM3 quality framework for the IME Manager
- Administration and monitoring of the Compliance Management System
- Coordinate technical competency management for the IME Manager and wider team
- Implement the operating model for continuous improvement as part of the "Predict and Prevent" asset stewardship strategy

**Skills, Knowledge & Experience**
**Skills**
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, including experience of working in an environment that requires communication with a wide range of senior internal and external contacts.
- Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills.
- Methodical approach to work paying close attention to detail.

**Knowledge**
- Knowledge on producing PowerPoint presentations and written reports is essential.
- Experience/knowledge of rail, or a keen interest to learn.
- Intermediate to advanced IT skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of SAP, Projects, Visio and Indesign is desirable but not essential.

**Experience**
- Experience in the rail or other infrastructure and asset critical industries is desirable but not essential
- Experience of supporting a medium to large teams in a business support or admin capacity
- Experience of working on own initiative, accurately and to tight deadlines, and to prioritise between conflicting demands
- Experience of promoting and building effective working relationships with all levels of staff and external contacts
