**Repairs and Maintenance**:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs. This will include painting and general multi trade tasks **Troubleshooting**:

- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with building systems, equipment and anything critical to our operations **Preventative Maintenance**:
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure safety for customers and staff.

**Equipment Operation**:

- Operate and maintain various tools and equipment required for maintenance tasks **Safety Compliance**:

- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing tasks and report any safety hazards. keep up to date with safety compliance legislation **Documentation**:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment inventories whilst providing all expense receipts as required

The Role: Store: Maintenance operative

Attic Self Storage is looking for a bright, hardworking and dynamic individual. As a fast-growing business, we understand the desire to move forward, and the right opportunities exist to reward the right people.

Your role will be integral in ensuring the safety and quality of our stores keep the required standards. Time management and speed of quality workmanship are paramount to keeping our properties at the forefront of the self-storage industry. Key duties will include:
**Emergency Response**:

- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, such as leaks, power outages, or security breaches **Groundskeeping**:

- Perform landscaping and groundskeeping tasks, including lawn care, snow removal, and exterior maintenance with car parks and paths

**Inventory Management**:

- Monitor and reorder supplies, parts, and materials needed for maintenance work.

**Communication**:

- Coordinate with other staff members, contractors, and management to ensure efficient maintenance operations.

**Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.

**Cleaning**:

- Cleaning of our car parks and service areas (jet washing etc.) to ensure we are safe and compliant for our staff and guests

Your Skill Set

You will need to have existing and demonstrable experience in a multi-trade position.

Must have’s:

- Driving license to drive the company van
- Suitable qualification in Electrics
- Previous experience working with the tasks on the job description
- Knowledge of basic maintenance tools and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Physical fitness and the ability to manage the workload
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when necessary.

Working Conditions:

- Work indoors and outdoors, depending on maintenance tasks.
- Exposure to various weather conditions.
- May involve bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Possible exposure to hazardous materials.
