**Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role**:
We currently have opportunities for caring, enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals to join our team in Scrabster, Thurso on the beautiful coast of Caithness.

In this role you will be supporting a gentleman with health and learning difficulties to live independently in his own home and work with a tailored care and support plan to meet his individual needs.

Due to this individual’s unique needs, we are looking for people who are energetic and physically active and enjoy the outdoors and a variety of activities including swimming, walking, attending day centre, cinema. It is also important to him to spend time with close family.

We are recruiting for full time and part time roles?, we can also offer casual/relief work

Varying shift pattern including waking nights, hours between 8am -10.30pm are 2:1 support and nights are 1:1 support. flexibility to include weekends

You will provide support in all aspects of daily living including personal care, meal preparation and medication. Previous experience of autism and learning disabilities would be an advantage. Support worker team will be trained in Learning Disability Awareness, Autism Awareness, Visual and Auditory impairment, PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System), Moving and Handling and Sensory Awareness.

We are seeking people who are active, physically resilient, have great communication skills and are flexible and adaptable in their role.

A UK Driving Licence is desirable
