- **You’ll**:

- Be a Senior General Foreperson working on the A428 Black Cat to Caxton Gibbet Improvement scheme, supporting the delivery of the of the works.
- Be supported by a Works Manager and the wider sectional management team. You are expected to liaise and support the team to coordinate the daily management of a section of work. You will ensure that all Health, Safety, Environmental and quality standards are met whilst delivering to the project programme.
- Be expected to liaise with the engineering and wider teams regarding programme, progress, working methods, delays disruption, future resource levels, safety, environmental and quality inspections and reports.
- You will have Supervising responsibility for: General Foreperson, Foreperson, Direct Labour force, Contractors and Labour only work force.

- **We’re looking for**:

- NVQ Level 3 or above
- Successful experience at Foreperson level.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to diverse audiences.
- Understanding and experience of construction techniques and best practices
- Competence with digital tools.
- Basic computer competence (E-mail, MS word, Excel)
- Formal training in Health & Safety and Environmental management (SMSTS minimum)
- Relevant CSCS Card
- Full Driving license.
- The following areas of experience are a key requirement of the role.
- 6 years minimum experience within National Highways infrastructure projects
- 10 years minimum experience with major infrastructure projects.
