**The Opportunity**:
The University of Edinburgh’s Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies is based at the Easter Bush Campus, 7 miles from the city of Edinburgh, and is a world leader in veterinary education, research and clinical practice.
Based at the core of the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies an exciting vacancy has arisen to provide confidential Personal Assistant (PA) support to the Head of School. You will provide a comprehensive PA administrative support to the Head of School, working in a fast-paced and rewarding environment on a fantastic Campus.
You will Line Manage and support the School Administrative Assistant who provides essential support to the running of the Head of School’s office and who deputises for the PA during periods of absence.
**Your skills and attributes for success**:
- You will possess excellent Microsoft Office skills including Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Visio and Outlook.
- HNC/HND or equivalent level qualifications plus a minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Personal Assistant at senior level
- Ability to work without supervision
- Organising internal and external events
