**Job Description**:
We are working with a nationwide insurance company who are looking for a First Response Water Technician to join their team in edinburgh. Day to day your responsibility will be to visit customers whose properties have been water damaged. Working with one of their primary technicians you will carry out an inspection, record results, and conduct cleaning in preparation for building repairs.
Pay: £24,00 to £27,00
Shift Pattern: Five out of seven days including weekends (37.5 hour standard week, though occasional paid overnight visits may be required)
Requirements: A valid UK driving license with less than 6 points and your own vehicle, 2 years' experience in either construction or building works. Previous experience in insurance claims would be advantageous but not essential as full training is provided
In summary, the main duties of a First Response Fire/Water Technician are:
Visit customer properties across Scotland
Working with the Primary Technician, you will carry out a property inspection for fire damage
Record all results via written, video, and photographic evidence to support the customer's insurance claim
Carry out an inspection of the surrounding areas
Check the property is secure for repair works by cleaning, removing debris, and sanitising the area
Provide a quality and positive service to the customer
Previous experience in insurance claims would be advantageous but not essential as full training is provided
