We are looking to recruit a Receptionist to join our expanding team here at Park Surgery. You must be flexible to cover additional hours as and when required (due to staff holidays, sickness etc). As Park is a very busy practice, you will need to be quick thinking and good at multi-tasking. You will be required to have excellent communication skills and the ability to provide our patients with a high quality service.

Your duties would include:

- Politely greeting patients and visitors to the practice
- Opening post and forwarding it onto the relevant departments
- Scanning, filing and all notes and patient record keeping
- Scheduling appointments for patients
- Updating the surgeries computer system with appointments and personal details
- Maintaining a clean reception area to show a professional image

Training will be provided by our Lead Receptionist and Practice Manager, but previous experience in a role such as this one is desirable. Trial period to be carried out.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: £10.18-£10.42 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Newport: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
