The National College for Transport and Infrastructure (NCATI) is a new organisation built to provide high-quality training for the rail, transport and infrastructure sectors.

The College has ambitious plans for growth and is looking to recruit two Learner Support & Engagement Officers who will play a key role in providing end to end support for the learner journey ensuring a positive experience.

These are part-time roles with one person being based at, Birmingham (22.5 hours per week)

The core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- **Learner Support**
- Complete accurate and timely ILPs with learners to ensure that they receive the most appropriate support during their time at college.
- Meet with learners individually and regularly to ensure that they are happy, engaged and safe at the College.
- Network with other mentors and staff and refer learners to appropriate professionals for support both within and outside college.
- **Safeguarding/Prevent/Learners at Risk**
- Support the Safeguarding Team by developing and promoting engaging resources that address wider regional and national strategies.
- **Enrichment & Learner Voice**
- Support the cross-college tutorial and induction process by ensuring that sessions are relevant, engaging and responsive to learners’ individual needs.
- Contribute to cross College activities/events (including volunteering) that support learners to develop their wider skills such as personal development, behaviour and attitudes.

The ideal postholders will have previous experience of delivering academic learning support, be comfortable building relationships with learners to identify and address learning needs and have a good knowledge and understanding of the Further and Higher Education sectors.
