Studio Production are now seeking a talented Product Editor (Korean Content) to join the Product Editorial team. The main purpose of this role is to help ensure that the products on NET-A-PORTER Group websites have been translated by our agency partners in an accurate and reliable manner, in clear and concise Korean, whilst preserving the house style as well as being part of the initial translations team working on site content for the Korean market.

Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:

- Head up an in-house team of Korean speaking sub-editors and translators. Proactively manage in-house team and individual performances, oversee probation and annual appraisals, identify development needs. Recruit and train new team members as required.
- Build and manage the relationship with our third-party language providers.
- Project manage any work from third-party language providers and oversee the invoicing process
- Perform language quality assessments.
- Ensure all copy is clear, concise and on brand. Working in alignment with other language editors to evolve the creative process, and with English editors to understand source text production.
- Monitor team’s daily and weekly performance, and internal SLAs.
- Manage resource and recruit freelance support in response to production needs.
- Sense-checking live content and competitive analysis.
- Keeping abreast of market change and linguistic trends.
- Ownership of house style documents, glossaries and training material.
- Be the Korean speaking point of contact for other Studio Production Team Managers, as well as wider business contacts across language speaking teams

The type of person we are looking for:

- Fluency in Korean and English, ability to speak fluently and write accurately.
- Significant proven experience in managing, leading and developing an in-house team of linguists as well as third-party language providers in a fast turnaround, high quality environment.
- The ability to efficiently meet tight deadlines, prioritizing high-volume workload and experience in motivating others to achieve within the required timeframe.
- Experience in either transcreation, translation project management, editing, copywriting or marketing, ideally within luxury retail.
- Accuracy and attention to detail crucial.
- Self-motivated, takes initiative, pro-active problem-solver.
- Proven organizational skills, excellent time keeping and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
