About the Role

Soho Editors is seeking a highly skilled Film Editor to join our team. As a Film Editor, you will play a crucial role in the post-production of our client's film work, bringing stories to life through engaging and dynamic content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Edit film projects, collaborating with producers, consultants, and designers to deliver high-quality content.
  • Contribute to the creative development of concepts and approaches for new projects, expanding the range of styles and formats offered.
  • Produce showreels and work on internal projects as required, showcasing your editing skills and creative approach.
  • Edit animated films, working closely with animators to deliver exceptional results.
  • Research and source music, stock footage, images, templates, and plugins as needed.
Requirements
  • Excellent editing experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
  • Experience in 2D motion graphics creation, color grading, and sound design.
  • Good knowledge of encoding and codecs, including delivery of OMFs, XMLs, etc.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High level of expertise with Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
  • Good knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Audition.
  • Experience with Media Encoder and other relevant software.
