We will consider flexible working arrangements for any of our roles and also offer work place accommodations to ensure you have what you need to effectively deliver in your role.

The Role:
A new operating model has been implemented to enhance M&G’s middle office service delivery, where several middle office operations functions, together with associated technology, was outsourced to a specialist service provider. This enabled M&G to deliver a scalable middle office solution that meets its international growth ambitions, by leveraging the expertise through our partnership with the service provider.

A new function was established to provide oversight and governance of the services outsourced to the middle office service provider and other providers (for example custodians). This function is responsible for delivering onboarding activities for products, funds, new instruments and markets, along with other administrative activities for oversight activities centralised under one new team.

Key Responsibilities for this role:

- Prioritise onboarding tasks where possible to ensure that target implementation dates are met
- Manage stakeholders and project team communications regarding progress for third party onboarding tasks
- Manage onboarding relationships, prioritisation, and issue resolution across third party network and provide feedback into overall service review meetings with suppliers
- Act as an escalation point for stakeholders, including outsourced middle office provider, to manage queries relating to third party operational product implementation.
- Perform the bi-annual reconciliation of the bank account database and money market deposit accounts.
- Review and validate middle office service provider’s fees/invoices against agreed rate card.
- Manage the Authorised Signatory Policy for Investment Operations.
- Be central point of contact for the Supplier Oversight Team in respect of audit requests

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience - Required:

- Strong knowledge of end to end operations model for asset management
- Strong knowledge of markets across all products
- Experience across all asset classes held by M&G’s clients
- Attention to detail and accuracy - Experience in third party relationships management and ability to influence when necessary
- Process optimisation skills - ability to review a process and assess different ways of achieving the same outcome to ensure that the process is both optimally efficient and effective.
- Good Interpersonal and teamwork skills with the ability to work closely with all stakeholders, both internal and external, to coexist within a ‘virtual’ collaborative team
- Prioritisation skills - ability to prioritise pipeline of work
- Strong written & verbal communication skills at all levels
- Proven experience in onboarding custodians/TPAs/other external suppliers
