We will support you every step of the way, developing your skills to professionally deliver this rewarding, sometimes challenging role with integrity and respect.

Working as a DCO within our team, we will provide you with the training to maintain high standards of security and safety for the residents in your care. You will be working in a new facility with a fast-paced environment and where no two days are the same.

**Detention Custody Officer - Swinderby Residential Short Term Holding Facility, Lincolnshire.**
- Salary £24308.47 per annum;
- Contractual hours 42 per week
- Fixed Shift Pattern provided in advance
- Full flexibility will be required as this is a 24- hour service, 365 days a year. Your rolling shift pattern will cover both days and nights on a 4on/4off pattern

**You must have a full UK manual driving licence - no endorsements and have held this for 1 year.**

**What we are looking for;**

Detention Custody Officers need to demonstrate patience, resilience, professionalism and a genuine desire to help others. Our DCO's come from a variety of backgrounds, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

**Training**

Successful applicants will be invited to attend a 6-week initial training course (ITC) with the added advantage of a Level 3 apprenticeship in Detention and Custody.
