Communications Specialist

We’re looking for a passionate, creative and proactive Communication Specialist to join our Communications and Engagement team, reporting to the Internal Communications and Engagement Manager.
Supporting the delivery of key transformation programmes, you'll be an experienced communications professional with the ability to deliver effective communication strategies, through internal and external communications, and build effective relationships with stakeholders to support our people and customers to feel informed, connected and engaged in order to help drive organisational performance.
The role has a strong focus on supporting and driving cultural and behavioural change internally and will work closely with Project and Change Managers, as well as work with project teams.
Whilst the location/work-base for this role may have been specified our evolving ways of working means that the role may require you to also work remotely (e.g., from home/other locations). We will discuss this with you during the recruitment process.

This is a one-year fixed term contract and may represent a suitable secondment opportunity for existing Cornwall Council employees. If you wish to be considered for a secondment, please obtain your manager’s permission before applying.
