Contribute to performance improvement, taking a lead for identified areas where agreed; and overall day-to-day supervision of the CHC placement team performance. Support delivery of standard operating procedures within the CHC placement team, highlighting instances where these need to be reviewed or amended for continuous improvement. Support the CHC placement team to ensure that the portfolio of tasks/projects is planned, managed, and delivered effectively and timely. Contribute to short, medium, and long term business plans, achieving quality outcomes.

Work proactively with the CHC placement team and Contract Manager to ensure delivery and compliance with key performance indicators and other performance metrics. The post holder will always adhere to the service guidance, and work within established policies, procedures, protocols, and systems ensuring quality standards and performance as directed by the Business Team Lead/Business Support Manager. Leading the CHC placement team in the robust and accurate management and maintenance of patient filing systems Ensure the CHC placement team complete all aspects of their required roles and duties within the department, ensuring policy and guidance is followed appropriately Ensure the CHC placement team compliance with Information Governance policy and guidance Work with members of the CHC team to develop and implement project data collection systems that will provide accurate and timely data. Support the implementation and evaluation of projects and provide high quality information, analysis, and feedback, often requiring high levels of concentration Ensure that all complaints, comments, and suggestions are dealt with appropriately, in accordance with policy, resolving where possible and escalating to line manager when appropriate and acting as first line of support to the team.

Contribute to the development of ongoing performance strategies and the further development and implementation of improvement programmes. Contribute to the communication of information, risks, issues, and dependencies, including briefings and reports to project teams, line managers and a range of internal and external staff. Progressing workstreams as requested. To support in the development across the organisation in the personalisation agenda and to support the pathway delivery for Personal Health Budgets within CHC.

Ensure accurate and open communication and co-ordination with a range of organisations and individuals. To supervise the CHC placement team and ensure that all duties are carried out and recorded on the relevant systems in line with internal policies and procedures e.g., sickness reporting, appraisals, annual leave. Support preparation of correspondence and papers, as directed by Line Manager. Responsible for organising and facilitating meetings for the department which may be complex, sensitive, political, and contain contentious information, and where required taking minutes and planning any administrative work in support of this, as required.

Participate in relevant internal working groups/projects, services, and initiatives with the aim of providing information and analytical advice to the teams. Update, maintain, organise, gather, and analyse information to /meet future organisational and team needs by identifying best professional practice. Provide coordination of and participate in relevant meetings, reporting attendance and providing information, feedback and advice where requested. Work with members of the team and key stakeholder to investigate the causes of any variance from plan/delivery targets and contribute to the implementation of solutions.

Support the development of internal and external communications where required by regular contact with the teams, stakeholders, and Communications Team. Deliver against specified organisational objectives, achieving quality outcomes, prioritising own and teams workload to deliver within tight deadlines. Support and inform the CHC team on the targeting of resources, monitoring, implementing, evaluating and delivery of plans by providing sophisticated, high quality information and analysis Contribute to the financial delivery of the service ensuring it is cost-effective and delivered on time whilst working to an ethos of value for money and greater efficiency. Undertake research and development as directed.
